Rave Karaoke is conveniently located in Marina Square, which makes it great for those who need to let loose and sing their heart out after a long work day. The rooms are decked in fancy neon light strips to add to the mood of your song choices. There’s even a little stage for you to perform on to complete the whole make-believe concert.
The rooms are fitted with high-quality microphones and high-fidelity sound systems to ensure that your “audience” can hear every note (and croak) crystal clear. You’ll definitely be able to find a room that fits your party needs as most of the rooms can fit up to 8 or 12 pax, but there are also larger rooms that can fit up to 30 pax.
Aesthetics aside, the most important aspect of any karaoke spot is the song selection. We have all experienced the disappointment of looking up the latest hit songs on the system only to find that it’s not in the song library. You won’t be disappointed here as they have a massive song library which features English, Korean, Japanese, even Vietnamese, and Cambodian songs.
When you go and sing K, are you the one who chooses the songs for the group or are you the one constantly making song requests? If you’re the former, you’d be thrilled to know that at Rave, you can access the system on your phone via the given website. This means that you can finally catch a break because everyone can now pick and queue their own songs — hooray!
For those who are not blessed with a heavenly singing voice, you can look forward to playing games on the entertainment system or even go for a round of darts. But the game I’m most excited to check out is the Subsoccer table, where you’ll be seated behind a table while kicking the ball and scoring goals. Sounds super chaotic but also very intriguing.
