When all-you-can-eat buffets and Korean BBQ collide, that’s when the magic happens. And although this no-frills Korean restaurant has been around for quite some time, it has yet to lose its lustre.

Those living around the Yishun and Sembawang neighbourhoods should be no stranger to Seoul Kitchen and its very enticing buffet options.

Nestled along Sembawang Road, the casual and homely family-style neighbourhood restaurant is perhaps best known for its extremely value-for-money BBQ buffet, despite offering a regular a la carte menu.

Drop by during lunch on weekdays (Monday to Friday) for unlimited Korean BBQ and Korean fried chicken at just S$15.90+ per person.

Prices for dinner (S$19.90+) and lunch on weekends (S$17.90+) are still very affordable — you’re essentially paying less than S$20 (before service charge — there is no GST) per head.

A decent selection of meats — Pork Belly, Pork Collar, Spicy Pork BBQ, Teriyaki Chicken BBQ, Marinated Beef BBQ, and Spicy Chicken BBQ — are available. Take your pick and don’t hesitate to get the grill going.

The buffet also comes inclusive of rice, free-flow banchan (side dishes), and ice cream for dessert.

As for the crispy, juicy, and lip-smacking chook, you can have original Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Fried Spicy Chicken, or Korean Fried Sweet Soy Chicken, but I highly recommend you order all three flavours.

Do note that there is a strict dine-in policy of 90 minutes, along with a minimum of two diners. So grab the biggest eater you know, make the trip to the North, and feast your hearts out!
