Calling all photographers and visual storytellers! The festival for all things photography-related is back. The Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) 2026 is happening from 16 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, featuring exhibitions, workshops, and tours.

Photo-Audio Walks

One of the most unique experiences at this year’s SIPF is Passing By Paradise: Photo-Audio Walk, open from 16 October 2026 to 29 November 2026. Hidden away in Geylang, you will find installations telling the stories of Geylang residents.

As you stroll through Geylang’s Lorongs, streets, and alleys, an audio track and images will accompany you. You will also discover photographic installations in local shops, homes, and public spaces that will connect you more deeply with the neighbourhood.

For a guided tour by the artists behind this experience, you can purchase General Tickets at S$25 or Concession Tickets at S$15. If you’d prefer, you can also conduct your own self-guided walk for free. Register and book your time slot here.

Singapore Photography

Of course, since it’s SIPF, one of the main highlights is seeing the works of Singaporean photographers. This includes Singapore Index by acclaimed filmmaker and artist Tan Pin Pin.

For the entire duration of SIPF, visitors to Shop-House by DECK will get to see black-and-white images captured between 1991 and 1992, during a transformational era in our nation.

At Mizuma Gallery at Gillman Barracks, Shifting Images: Photography From Singapore 2000 – 2025 (Image After Image) takes you beyond the 90s into the 2000s. In fact, you will explore over 2 decades of evolution in photography practices.

Works From Outside Singapore

For those of you who want to set your sights (or lenses) on works from outside Singapore, there are also exhibitions for you. For instance, from 16 October 2026 to 29 November 2026, there are 2 exhibitions at Shop-House by DECK featuring works by Korean photographers.

In the Comfort of All Things spotlights the everyday lives of elderly residents in an old multi-family housing complex, as well as colourful images of a university hospital.

FEM: Women, Lives, and Korean Photobooks presents a collection of photobooks that showcase the diverse experiences of different generations of Korean women. You will see through the eyes of photographers in their twenties, all the way to those in their eighties.

Both exhibitions are open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm–7pm.

Talks & Workshops

If you’re a photographer who wants to find inspiration or expand your creative skillset, there is a series of talks and workshops you can sign up for at SIPF too. One interesting session is The Photobook Clinic with Shi Zhen taking place on 24 October 2026.

The 3-hour session invites creatives working on photobook projects to come together for a constructive exchange. Whether they are just starting on their creations or nearing completion, participants will benefit from professional guidance that will help elevate their work.

General Tickets are available at S$130, while Concession Tickets are priced at S$90. If this is your cup of tea, reserve a seat here.
