If you didn’t already know, Slingshot Singapore, home to some of the most thrilling extreme rides in Asia, has finally (and quietly) reopened in Clarke Quay after two gruelling years.
Despite being one of Singapore’s OG extreme experiences that made nights out in Clarke Quay so much more exciting, the ride was closed in April 2020, before reopening in late December 2022.
Although only one of two rides is in operation (at the time of writing), you’re guaranteed to experience “rapid flying and free fall thrills” on the GX5 Extreme Swing, which takes riders on a heart-pounding freefall from the top of a tower.
That’s right — you and your friends will get to take in the stunning sights of the city skyline from a completely different point of view…all while plummeting 40 metres at a speed of 120kph. Try your best to keep your dinner and drinks in.

Tickets are priced at S$45 per adult and S$35 per youth (12 to 17 years old). Do note that there is a height requirement of 120cm (and a minimum age requirement of 12 years old) in order to ride on the GX5 Extreme Swing.
No exact date has been slated for the launch of the second and newest ride, the Slingshot, a scarier gravity-defying ride (slated to be the tallest slingshot in Asia) that shoots you 70 metres into the sky, but you can keep a lookout on Slingshot Singapore’s social media pages for more updates.
