We love raves and parties — but most of us can probably agree that it gets really hot and sweaty in Singapore thanks to our tropical climate (even with the AC on!). By the end of the night, we’re usually all sticky and grimy and can’t wait to hit the showers — but what if there’s a party somewhere freezing cold (in Singapore at that!)?
Thanks to C.L.U.P. (Combined Local University Party), you can now party in sub-zero temperatures and ‘’snowy’’ conditions at Snow Rave taking place in Snow City — and we’re not talking about just foamy ‘’snow’’ made from soap, it’s actually going to be freezing cold!
As you dig up all your winter wear for Snow Rave, remember to pick out the cutest ones as there will be a best-dressed competition where you will stand a chance to win an awesome 2D1N staycation at Carlton Hotel Singapore. Remember, it’s going to be really cold (there will even be blizzards at random times!), so make sure you dress on theme (mini skirts and shorts are a no-no!).
The partying space is split into two rooms — the first one being the one mimicking the winter conditions of cold weather countries with temperatures reaching negative seven degrees celsius. This room will feature hit music, EDM, hardstyle and manyao.
When you feel like you need to warm up a little bit, there’s also a normal room temperature room for partying where it’ll be around 23 to 25 degrees celsius (normal AC temperature!). This room will feature hip hop, R&B, moombahton (combination of house and reggaeton), reggaeton and hit music.
Snow Rave is taking place on 25 February (Saturday) and will run from 9pm to 2am. Tickets are available for purchase and start from S$40, and they’re going fast so you better hurry!
