As we approach the year-end season, it’s only natural to feel like treating yourself. And if you’re an omakase lover like me who can never pass up on a good deal, read on.
There are a ton of Japanese omakase places in town, but Sushi Michi might just be one of the more affordable options in the area.
Prices for a regular 13-course lunch omakase at the Orchard Plaza restaurant start from just S$80, which is pretty reasonable given how hard it is to find good-quality omakase under S$100.
Well, you now have a chance to save even more with their limited-time 1-for-1 promotion on both the Lunch and Dinner omakase, available from now till end November 2023.
If you’d like to visit at lunchtime, the 11-course Lunch, consisting of eight pieces of nigiri, tamagoyaki, soup, and dessert, will set you back just S$64 per person (U.P. S$128).
Otherwise, you’ll need to fork out a little extra — S$84 per person (U.P. S$168), to be exact — for the slightly more extravagant 15-course Dinner consisting of one sashimi appetiser, 11 pieces of nigiri, tamagoyaki, soup, and dessert.
Omakase at Sushi Michi is a “nigiri-forward” affair, so sushi lovers are in for a treat! The types of fish served may be seasonal, but you can look forward to highlights like aburi hotate (scallop), otoro, uni handroll, aka ebi (red shrimp) and more.
Advanced reservations are required in order to enjoy this exclusive 1-for-1 promotion and can be made by calling 9298 0222 and quoting “1-for-1”. Alternatively, you can drop the restaurant a DM via Instagram.
