To celebrate their new opening at West Coast, they have an ongoing opening promotion with a complimentary upsize of drinks to 700ml.

Of course, we need to talk about its wildly popular S$0.80 Boat Noodle. For the choice of carbohydrates, you can choose between glass noodles or rice noodles (admin vastly prefers glass noodles). For a richer taste, opt for the Herb Boat Noodle Soup which has been refined to have a complex broth. My personal preference for soup base is the spicy tang of Red Tom Yum.

In terms of toppings, you can choose from six options. This includes Prawn, Beef Ball, Beef Slice, Pork Ball, Pork Liver, and Pork Slice. For additional sides, you can look at adding Vegetables (S$0.80) or Pork Skin Slice (S$3.80).

If you’re tired of continuously ordering the S$0.80 Boat Noodle, try out the Medium Bowl from S$7.80 for a comfortable portion. For meat, you can opt for either Pork or Beef. Else, opt for Supersize Bowl which has all toppings included starting from S$20.80. Unlike the S$0.80 Boat Noodle, you have an additional option of Mama Noodle from the original options of Glass Noodle and Rice Noodle. Do note that this is only available for the Medium Bowl.

Not into Boat Noodles? Check out their other mains like Spicy Basil Sliced Beef Rice (S$10.80), Tomyum Prawns Spaghetti (S$11.80), Lala Tom Yum Pot (S$23.80), and more. Or if you can’t handle spice, take a look at their Traditional Claypot Lala (S$23.80), Salted Egg Crispy Egg Spaghetti (S$12.80), Grilled Chicken Thigh Rice (S$9.80) and more.

They even offer mookata which is by Mookata X, if you so prefer that.

For me, it is customary to get Crispy Pork Belly Served With Honey Mustard Sauce (S$10.80) whenever I dine in. It’s on the pricier side but I would say it’s absolutely worth the money. They also have a wide variety of snacks like Crispy Fried Chicken Mid Wing (S$7.80), Thai Fish Cake (S$8.80 for five pieces), Seaweed Fries (S$6.80), and more.

As a long-time fan of BKK Bistro & Bar, it is great to see that they are still thriving.
