From now until 24 March, you’ll get to experience a magical world of enchantment at The Disney+ Home: A Story for Everyone at Vivocity L1 Atrium. This exciting pop-up promises an immersive tour through four interactive themed rooms showcasing the diverse and colourful stories of Disney movies.

Not only are admissions free, but every participant gets to embark on a treasure hunt and stands a chance to win adorable Disney+ merch including pillows, t-shirts and mugs. 

Simply grab a booklet at the counter and start solving the puzzles with the scattered clues all over the installation. If you love searching for hidden mickeys, this is totally up your alley.

Start off your treasure hunt at the Musical Memoirs tucked behind a door lined with posters of artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. There’ll be plenty of photo ops in this hidden room featuring neon lights, movie posters, and a huge mirror to fit you and your pals (don’t forget to bring along your Disney-themed accessories for the ‘gram). 

Besides that, there’s also a hall of mirrors just waiting for your wacky photos to be taken.

But, for those who are looking for a more relaxing time, head to the Hollywood-themed Suite Escape where you’ll be able to read screenplays from your favourite movie. 

Can you hear the inner child in me squealing with excitement? 

Otherwise, Countertop Stories lets you indulge in a buffet of movies and series from Korea to Japan including The Impossible Heir and Sand Land: The Series — perfect for all the K-drama enthusiasts. 

Settle yourself into the comfy sofa at Couch Surfers boasting Star Wars figurines including BB-8, R2-D2, and a life-size Stormtrooper. Get up close with various art books that let you discover the behind-the-scenes of famous movies like Finding Dory or catch trailers for Loki S2 and Avatar: The Way of Water.

You might even get to personally meet and greet with your favourite Disney+ characters like Elsa and Loki!

Watch your favourite Disney characters come to life and join them in this immersive, interactive world that you never knew you needed. Whether you’re aiming to become a little mermaid or even the villain Ursula, you’ll be able to journey with them and relive the iconic songs and moments that have shaped your childhood.

Brought to you by Base Entertainment Asia in partnership with Walt Disney Animation Studios, this magical Disney exhibition at the Sands Theatre will open its doors from 18th November 2023.

Tickets however, will be on sale at 3pm, 7 September 2023. Although tickets won’t be gone within seconds like it’s a Taylor Swift concert, I definitely would encourage you to grab some as soon as possible. 

It’s going to be an unforgettable 90-minute experience from the moment you step in. Led by a swirling trail of pixie dust, you will get to see rare exhibits taken straight from the vaults of Disney Animation Studios. 

Original character sketches from the Walt Disney Animation Research Library, as well as an animator’s work desk introducing 100-years of Disney’s legacy, character creation and the efforts of amazing animators behind the films will help visitors understand how their beloved characters come to life on screen.

An interactive Drawing Table will offer a hands-on, educational experience for budding and seasoned artists. Learn Disney’s secrets and techniques of creating lovable characters and you might just create the next big hit! 

The fairies will then lead you through secretive vault doors that hold the highlight of this exhibition — a breathtaking 360-degree multisensory environment. No need to imagine yourself at Pride Rock as Rafiki holds Simba up to the sky, because you’ll be there in person. 

After travelling to Africa, you’ll find yourself in a whole new world with Aladdin and Jasmine, being the third wheel on a magic carpet ride. But just let it go and belt along to the songs from the classic 1980s blockbusters to more recent movies. 

The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Lion King, Encanto, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Frozen and so many more timeless movies will be testing your dedication as a Disney fan.

Not to mention, shimmering bubbles filling the entire gallery will make you feel as if you are under the sea, bringing your immersive experience to the next level. We all know how popular this will be with children (and the adults that are young at heart).

What ties this otherworldly experience together is the interactive floor experience that will respond to your movements throughout the exhibition. Every step you take changes the virtual environment around you, and you can shimmer and glow with the show as your custom wristband lights up with different colours.
