1. Napolizz Pizza

Specialising in authentic Italian fare, Napolizz Pizza has brought their signature thin crust pizza to the folks in Choa Chu Kang and Yew Tee. They have a wide selection of pizzas that are great for sharing or for a party. The signature Napolizz and Pizza Buffalo Parma Ham are a must order when you visit. 

Apart from pizzas, they also have a selection of pastas including the classic Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Spaghetti Marinara. To my surprise, the menu also features Gnocchi and Ravioli which are hard to find these days. I’m definitely going to make a trip down to try those out! 

2. I Love Sukho Thai 

We all love a good bowl of Tom Yum Kung, Thai-style steamed fish, and a good plate of Pineapple fried rice. Thankfully, I Love Sukho Thai serves all of those dishes, and more! Prices are also kept affordable so you can indulge in some hearty Thai food without worrying about breaking the bank. 

If you’re planning to bring the whole fam down, the Steamed Seabass with Chilli Lime (S$28) and the Crab Meat Omelette (S$18) are great for sharing. But of course, no visit to a Thai restaurant is complete without having a plate of Mango Sticky Rice (S$7), which comes with a thick and juicy slice of mango — yummy!  

3. Sueno 

Sueno is here to satisfy all your sweet cravings with their delicious gelato, fluffy waffles, hearty pies and refreshing drinks. They have over 10 gelato flavours on the menu like Cookie Monster, Earl Grey and Fig, and Cotton candy Bubblegum. The crowd favourite is the Sea Salt Toffee Cookie Crumb and it is best paired with a cup of coffee or on top of a freshly baked waffle. 

Apart from the classic gelato and waffles pairing, Sueno also has a selection of Acai Bowls generously topped with various fruits like banana, blueberries, strawberries, dragonfruit and more. They also have savoury pies that make for a great weekend brunch or an afternoon tea time snack. The cafe also makes for a great place to chill and escape the heat with a refreshing drink. 

4. Wet Market

Fun fact: Limbang Shopping Centre and Limbang Wet Market are actually connected through a “secret” exit. It’s not common that you’ll find a wet market and a shopping centre located in the same premise, but that’s what makes Limbang even more unique. 

You’ll be able to shop for fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, spices and more here. After doing your weekly grocery run, you can hop next door to the shopping mall to grab a quick bite before heading home — how convenient! 

5. Koi The

Bubble tea lovers will be thrilled to know that Koi The has opened a new outlet in Limbang Shopping Centre — yes, Koi The, not even Koi Express. Ngl, I was pretty surprised to see Koi The setting up shop here, especially since most neighbourhood outlets are typically Koi Express. 

That said, if you love Koi’s golden bubble over the regular pearls, you’ll definitely be able to drink your fill here. While Koi Express lets you add a scoop of coconut ice cream, here, you can add on a scoop of vanilla ice cream — which is great for me since I’m not a fan of coconut ice cream. 

Limbang truly is a hidden gem in the west, with a wet market, new dining options, a supermarket, and a provision shop. The entire second floor is also filled with enrichment centres and child care centres for mommies to drop off their child while they run some errands.
