There’s some exciting stuff happening in Choa Chu Kang come May 2023, with an exciting attraction that promises to be great fun for the whole family. Dubbed as a “fitness oasis”, SAFRA Choa Chu Kang clubhouse will feature an array of attractions and activities, along with new fitness and enrichment centres for both young and old.
Unlike many other SAFRA clubhouses across the island, SAFRA Choa Chu Kang’s clubhouse will feature many firsts for the fitness and recreational association.
For starters, you can expect to find a 150m-long sheltered sky running track, which overlooks the neighbouring KJE expressway. Gents, if you ever get tired while training for your 2.4km run, just take in the views and hopefully you’ll feel less exhausted.
If there’s one word to describe Singapore’s weather it would be unpredictable. But at SAFRA CCK, even Singapore’s unpredictable weather won’t get in the way of your fitness plans as the clubhouse also features a sheltered swimming pool.
Dotted with lush greenery, the swimming pool stretches the entire length of the second floor which gives off major infinity pool-esque vibes. You may even feel like you’ve been whisked away to a private resort for a short getaway.
If you’ve got some pent up frustrations to release, the clubhouse also has an MMA ring for you to unleash your inner warrior. If you’re looking to toughen up your image, there are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, with options for feisty kids, to sign up for.
Other sports activities include rock climbing, sheltered futsal court, and a gym. For folks who prefer less fitness-centric activities and more leisure activities, there’s a bowling alley, a clique game room with pool tables, and a games room.
But of course, there are also activities carved out for young children, who will be more than eager to spend hours of fun at Bouncetopia, an inflatable play park that takes playgrounds to a whole new level.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Choa Chu Kang MRT, the clubhouse will also bring more dining options to the neighbourhood. There will be a food court as well as a military-themed cafe that serves a fusion of Asian and Western delights like the Coconut Kaya Sourdough toasts and Bee Pollen.
For fast food options, you can look forward to a Burger King drive-thru that opens until 2am – the fast food chain’s first drive-thru in Singapore.
