You’ve probably heard of Tipsy Collective and its many themed restaurants and bars, each named after an animal, in Singapore.
Did you know that weekday set lunches are now available at five of their restaurants islandwide: Tipsy Bird (Paya Lebar), Tipsy Bunny (Jurong East), Tipsy Panda (Woodlands), Tipsy Flamingo (City Hall), and Tipsy Hippo (Clemenceau)?
Each set is priced from S$15 and comprises an appetiser, main course, and a refreshing beverage.
The menu is the same across all five participating outlets. Each diner gets to enjoy the restaurant group’s rendition of Pani Puri, crispy wheat balls filled with assam yogurt foam and wok-hei vegetables, which takes inspiration from the popular Indian street snack.
Afterwards, opt for your choice of main, be it Grilled Chicken Breast, Baked Sea Bass, or the crowd favourite Shoyu Salmon Sashimi (+S$2), shoyu-marinated salmon sashimi with mentaiko mayo-topped fried tofu and Japanese pearl rice.
Each bowl makes for a nutritious yet filling lunch — the Ribeye Steak (+S$2), for instance, is served with truffle marmite veal jus, quinoa, cherry tomato, and sauteed Swiss brown mushroom.
You also get to choose a glass of soft drink (like Coke, Sprite, and iced lemon tea), but there is, of course, the option of topping up for coffee or tea, beer, or a glass of wine. If you need something to get you through the day, why not?
