Looking for ways to spend your Easter besides going on an Easter egg hunt around the neighbourhood? How about spending your weekend at Wheeler’s Market: Egg-Citited Easter Market, taking place on 9 April 2023 at Wheeler’s Estate in Seletar Aerospace Park?

Wheeler’s Market was first started in 2018 as a platform for local businesses to showcase their artisanal collectibles. In line with Easter weekend, this edition of Wheeler’s Market will be Easter-themed, with 20 booths from local brands selling items such as art for mental wellness, accessories, and homeware amongst many others.

Some exciting local brands to keep a lookout for at the market include silentknot which sells Macrame items like coasters, keychains and even cushion covers. In case you were wondering, Macrame is a form of creative knotting technique used to make a variety of items with cotton or hemp rope.

The popular TikTok shop Kueh Clouds will also be setting up a booth selling their trendy beaded phone straps as well as other cute merch. Be sure to pick up one of their cute Kueh Tees or a vibrant phone case while you’re there.

You can also check out the terrarium making workshop organised by J2 Terrarium. You’ll get to create your own miniature garden, enclosed within a cute egg-shaped glass jar. The terrariums are low-maintenance which means you don’t need to have green thumbs to care for them — speaking as someone who somehow managed to kill a cactus, terrariums are definitely much easier to keep.

The registration fee for the terrarium workshop is S$17 (U.P. S$38) and includes all the necessary materials as well as a complimentary figurine of your choice. There are limited slots, so be sure to sign up here ASAP

Apart from shopping for knick-Knacks, you can also get yourself some fancy inks over at Indian Inks — who specialise in henna and jagua art. Other local brands that will be present include mylittlespies, mrazziepie, A Kind Ooof, Confetti Hands, and Rayne or Shine, so you can expect to do plenty of shopping there.
