Located in Orchard Central and spanning 6,000 square feet, X-SCAP8 (pronounced escapade) is the largest integrated indoor funground in town, serving as a go-to space for the young (and young at heart) to have a thrilling good time.
There are five specially curated zones to explore and play in — Infinity & Beyond, Balls & Birdies, Smash Lab, X-Warrior Challenge, and Arcade Zone.
Reach new heights, literally, with Infinity and Beyond, a high-element adventure course. Combat your fears as you swing, climb, and traverse three different levels, with the highest at a whopping 10 meters.
Be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment as you conquer the fight against gravity in this exciting fun zone, which also happens to be perfect for recreational and team-building activities.
Prices start from S$35 per person.
If you need to decompress, de-stress, and let off some steam, head down to Smash Lab, X-SCAP8’s very own rage room. Yell, scream, and shout, as you take out your frustration on recycled bottles, old furniture, and many more, in the privacy of an enclosed soundproof concrete room.
Each 45-minute session is priced at S$35 for one person and S$65 for two people, inclusive of safety gear and crates of items.
Seeking a different form of temporary escape from reality? Challenge your friends to a good ol’ retro game or two at the Arcade Zone, a nostalgia-filled space that might just unleash your inner child.
There are over 200 game selections to choose from, including the likes of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Tetris, and Street Fighter, with tokens priced at just S$1 each.
Alternatively, make a beeline for Balls & Birdies, a golf stimulator that’ll keep your mind sharp and focused. You don’t need to be a seasoned golfer to engage in a match with your buddies; guests can choose from different courses with varying levels of difficulty and slowly hone their swing skills.
Each one-hour session is priced at S$60, with a cap of four people per session.
Ninja warrior types can sweat it out at the X-Warrior Challenge, an indoor obstacle course designed to test one’s speed, agility, and strength. It’s an unforgettable experience not for the weak-hearted that’ll motivate you to come back for more.
At the time of writing, the X-Warrior Challenge is complimentary with a minimum spend of S$30 per person at the ‘Eat-Play-Laugh’ RestoBar.
Reward yourself after a long day of challenges at the new ‘Eat-Play-Laugh’ RestoBar, complete with an outdoor patio overlooking the scenic Singapore skyline.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a refreshing drink alongside a spread of local and Western delights, including Laksa Aglio Olio with Prawns and Har Cheong Gai Wings.
Tickets can be booked here, but walk-ins are also accepted.
