At this point, you’ve probably already heard about a bunch of Halloween events going on in Singapore, but this is one you definitely don’t want to miss — hint: it involves exciting themed parties, booze and good vibes all around!
Singapore might not have as many Halloween traditions as western countries (like trick or treating, house parties and so on), but that doesn’t mean that we have to stay cooped up at home on this Halloween weekend!
On 28 and 29 October 2022, YANG Club and Yin Bar will be having a two-night Halloween party themed around Greek Mythology, more specifically, seductive sirens at their (very apt) Riverhouse location.
PS, if you’re not familiar with the term, a siren is a creature in Greek mythology that basically symbolises temptations and desire, so it’s very on theme especially with alcohol, partying and all things dark involved on a fun Halloween weekend.
Start off your night at Yin Bar with some spellbindingly gorgeous themed cocktails like the Siren’s Lagoon Cocktail (S$21++) bound to make your friends replay your IG story over and over. Don’t worry, it doesn’t just look pretty, it also tastes intoxicatingly refreshing as it’s made with tequila, blue curacao, peach liqueur and lemon and cranberry juice — be careful though, it’s sweet but deadly, just like a siren.
If you prefer a good ol’ classic cocktail, you can also opt for the 1-for-1 cocktail options at S$35++.
As you enjoy your drinks and mingle around, there’ll also be accompanying live performances to amp up the ambience so there’ll never be a dull moment — especially as you wait for the night to REALLY get started at the club later on.
When you have enough booze and hype in your system, it’s time to hit up YANG Club, where you can dance and party the night away with the DJs — DJ Sherpa, Big M, Kidd Royale and guest DJ UBERJAK’D.
To make things even more exciting, there’ll be deadly sirens lurking around the club as well as a costume contest, so dress on theme and go crazy if you want to score some bragging rights (as well as a bottle of Moet Chandon Brut Champagne) with your friends.
Cover charges for YANG Club begin at S$50 with two premium housepours on 29 October (Saturday).
