Fans of frozen yogurt (and the popular ice cream brand Yolé), you’re in luck! Singapore is now home to the world’s first Yolé Cafe, in none other than the bustling Chinatown.

The cafe, which quietly opened in December 2022 along Pagoda Street, is a far cry from the typical Yolé kiosks dotted around Singapore.

The interior is spacious, dynamic, and brightly lit, with plenty of seating (plush sofas included) for group gatherings, one-on-one dates, and solo yogurt runs. Think “chill tropical beach club vibes”, to put it simply.

You can look forward to the same icy offerings typically available at all Yolé outlets, like the Ibiza (from S$7.50 for Medium), the classic yogurt parfait loaded with toppings, fruits, crunches, and your choice of sauce.

Switch it up by opting for your frozen yogurt to be served in a Cone (S$7.50), Waffle Bowl (S$8.50), Affogato (S$5.50), or even a Twist (S$6.50) — froyo swirled with mango sauce, strawberry sauce, and muesli.

You can even find freshly churned ice cream (with zero sugar) in flavours like Peanut Butter, Strawberry, Pistachio, and Lotus Cookies.

But what makes Yolé Cafe truly stand out is the never-before-seen selection of sweet and savoury brunch offerings, comprising sandwiches, loaded toasts, and bowls.

You can totally keep it healthy with the prettily-plated Quinoa Chicken Bowl Salad (S$17.50) or Avocado Toasts (S$12.90) or treat yourself to the Bikini Barcelona (S$14.90), a toasted mushroom, parma ham, and truffle oil sandwich inspired by the iconic Spanish ‘bikini’.

Those with a sweet tooth will absolutely adore the Pistachio Brioche (S$15.90), thick slices of brioche layered with custard, rich pistachio sauce, pistachio ice cream, and fruits. We highly recommend ordering this as a dessert to share.

Lovers of all things pistachio can take it up a notch with the Pistachio Latte (S$8.90), a decadent combination of espresso, milk, milk foam, and that same concentrated pistachio sauce that will have you swooning in delight.

Otherwise, why not try one of the cafe’s speciality drinks like the Mango Boba Shake (S$8.50), Pina Colada Soda, or the well-balanced Matcha Cubes Latte (S$7.90), which gets its rich, bittersweet flavour from the addition of matcha ice cubes (that prevents your drink from getting diluted)?

Believe it or not, there’s something for everyone at this unique cafe concept. Impressive brunch mains, novelty drinks that don’t compromise on taste, and delectable yogurt treats — what’s not to like?
