First, the adorable animal-shaped mousse cakes, and now, dainty cheesecakes — 7-Eleven Singapore has done it again!

This new dessert series comprises a trio of mini cheesecakes imported from Belgium in nostalgic flavours we’re all very familiar with: Oreo, Toblerone, and Daim.

They even come in single-serving glass cups, which can be enjoyed on the go, then washed and reused — yay for sustainability! We can totally see them being a hit at picnics and parties.

Naturally, we had to get our hands on all three.

The popular Oreo Cheesecake, comprising vanilla cheesecake, Oreo cookie chunks, and a way too crumbly cookie base, is a classic. However, it was a lot sweeter than expected, which may be a good thing for those with a really sweet tooth.

Out of the two chocolate creations, we liked the Toblerone Cheesecake, with a chocolate-flavoured biscuit base and Toblerone milk chocolate, a lot more. Smooth and creamy, but with the potential to get really cloying.

My colleagues felt that the Daim Cheesecake, which is topped with milk chocolate and crunchy Daim Pieces, was a lot sweeter, but not too impressive, flavour-wise. Still, you’ll probably really enjoy it if you’re a huge fan of the Swedish chocolate (which I recall buying lots of from IKEA as a child).

Both chocolate cheesecakes had barely any discernible cheesecake flavour, but they’re still worth trying especially if you’re a hardcore chocoholic.

7-Eleven is currently running a promotion, in which you can get three for S$11.90 (U.P. S$4.20 each), from now till 30 November 2023, which means you only need to fork out around S$3.97 per cheesecake.

These cheesecakes are available at selected 7-Eleven stores islandwide, so you might have to hunt them down, given how viral they’ve become on TikTok.
