It’s nearing the end of the year when we normally plan our vacations, but it will still be a while before we can travel. That’s why 7-Eleven has been bringing pieces of our favourite holiday spots to us — first, it was Thailand but now you can get your hands on some Tokyo Banana at 7-Eleven too.
From 1 September 2021 until 12 October 2021, you can pre-order the popular Japanese snack from all 7-Eleven outlets at S$10.90 per box.
If you move fast you can even get it at a better price of S$20.20 for 2 boxes with their early bird special, which runs from 1 September 2021 to 14 September 2021. As they say, the early bird catches the… Tokyo Banana?
Just approach the staff to place a pre-order and you can collect your banana-custard-filled Tokyo Banana at 7-Eleven 4 days later. Pre-orders are subject to availability so get your hands on some while stocks last!
Let’s say you’re not a Tokyo Banana fan and won’t be going bananas for it, 7-Eleven has also brought back some of their popular 7-Select Japanese desserts. Choose from a trio of Double Layer Custard Cream Puff (S$1.90), Milk Cream Roll Cake (S$1.90), and Vanilla Mille Crepe Cake (S$4).
These sweet and creamy smooth products are made from quality ingredients from the land of the rising sun. You can be sure you’re getting a real taste of Japan from the Japanese flour to the famously delicious Hokkaido milk and cream, for as low as S$1.90.
With all that cream, 7-Elevens Japanese snacks specials are a good alternative to Tokyo Banana’s banana custard. So if you’re looking for silky, melt-in-the-mouth decadence without the strong taste of Banana, get one of these while stocks last.
We don’t know how long 7-Eleven will be selling these or if they’re coming back again after this, so head down to a 7-Eleven near you now to grab some. And maybe while you’re there, you can pre-order some Tokyo Banana too!
