With all the pasar malam updates in Singapore this week, it seems like our night markets are back for good. So mark your calendars – it’s time to go pasar malam-hunting for everything from Ramly burger to Thai milk tea! Scroll down to find out all about the seven pasar malams coming up soon.
We haven’t been able to enjoy casual walks around a pasar malam the past two years since COVID-19 hit, and Singapore went into circuit-breaker mode.
After craving pasar malam food for so long, to the extent of learning how to make my own cup corn at home, we can now finally look forward to buying all our quintessential street food favourites soon.
Not to mention, we can also look forward to exploring the array of vendors offering a broad range of other delicious eats such as Taiwanese snacks, Thai food, and ice-cream.
Otherwise, as with pasar malams of the past, you can also look forward to doing some random shopping for homeware and phone accessories amongst others. And *fingers crossed*, if there aren’t any lingering covid restrictions on carnival games, we can also look out for the kooky pasar malam games to play too.
Throw darts at the balloons, or have a go at the claw machine and win prizes if you’re lucky (or skilled)! Hopefully the carnival rides will be back too and the kids will have a ball of a time on those.
