Can you believe it’s already April?
This means that spring has sprung with all, including these new things you can see, do, and experience in Singapore in April 2025!
1. Night At Orchard

It’s not a secret that Singaporeans’ favourite pastime is shopping. Well, say goodbye to keeping your spending in check, as Night At Orchard is back.
Night at Orchard’s focus is on international and home-grown creative and experiential brands. So be prepared for a wide array of booths as the bazaar is a whopping stretch from the front of Wisma Atria to Ngee Ann City.
From past editions, we can expect over 50 booths, with retail, food, and possibly hands-on activities.
Held during the last weekend of the month, this is the best way to end April on a bang!

2. Tulipmania

Springtime is upon us, and there’s no better way to welcome it than with April’s brightest blossoms.
Tulipmania at Gardens by the Bay will once again pop up this month. Tulipmania is a beloved staple in the garden, as it was the first flower display at Gardens by the Bay to clinch its 10th edition last year.
This year’s edition brings back the original tulips from the east side of Turkey, alongside the colourful landscape and different civilisations.

3. Nekoland

Why choose between coffee, cats, and a children’s playground when you can have all three at Nekoland?
While its cageless cat interaction space is its best feature, Nekoland at Polliwogs Clarke Quay Central also doubles as an indoor playground and cafe.
As a child-friendly space, kids with supervising adults can learn about responsible cat care whilst cosying up to cute creatures.
Once the kids are done cuddling with the critters, take them to the indoor interactive playground, designed to educate kids about cat care, rescue, and adoption.
Ball pits, a mirror maze, a tree house, and more — kids will easily be absorbed into the playground for hours.
After playtime, recharge and relax at Taro’s cafe which offers a variety of cafe food and Japanese staples alike. With free Wi-Fi access, charging points, and tables, this space is also suited as a co-working space.
While walk-ins are allowed, you should probably make a reservation, especially during peak hours.

4. Atlr.72’s Flowering Ice Cream Truck

While not quite like the viral Kyoto-based floral ice cream from (THISIS)SHIZEN, Atlr.72 is currently offering a decent alternative minus all the travel.
Located in Bugis Junction, Ajinomoto’s Atlr.72 is having a dessert van pop-up serving Flowering Ice Cream.
Choose from three flavours like Vanilla with Mochi, Chocolate with Lemon Peel, and Salty Caramel with Nuts.
A single scoop goes for S$7 while the double scoop is priced at S$13. As to where the “flowering” part comes into play, they are the flower-shaped, colourful sugar cookies decorating the ice cream itself.

April seems to be the month of bazaars, as over in Suntec, Public Garden is making a return too.
For one weekend only, discover new independent local and overseas designers at the craft marketplace.
Public Garden is practically a treasure trove where you can find handcrafted trinkets, unique crafts, and more. So get your artsy friends together and have a ball at Public Garden when it opens.

6. Hanami Matsuri Isetan Food Fair and Pokémon Mart

Can’t get enough of Japan? Head down to the Isetan Japanese food fair – Hanami Matsuri.
As the name suggests, the food fair is a celebration of the cherry blossom festival.
No doubt, Japanese fare is to be expected. In line with the spring festival, over 15 vendors are offering spring specialties and street eats.
From classics like taiyaki and takoyaki to sweet treats like cookie-gelato sandwiches, the choices are endless.
Bonus points, if you also love the beloved franchise Pokémon, hop on over to the Pokémon Mart pop-up store, beside the festival.
There are exclusive Pokémon merchandise on sale, including adorable plushies, embroidery brooches, tote bags, and more.
So, head down to catch ‘em all before it ends.

7. Thai Supermarket Songkran Festival

For those still reminiscing about their trips to Thailand, take a trip down to Thai Supermarket’s Songkran Festival in Aperia Mall.
As a top travel destination for many Singaporeans, festivals from the country have also seen much popularity here.
Thai Supermarket’s own Songkran Festival lets you experience The Land of Smiles’ street eats, live performances, and cultural experiences all in one place. What’s more, is that Thai Supermarket is also celebrating their 40th year, so the festival will have a fitting 80s retro theme.
So for over two days, enjoy the fare offered at a special price of S$4 each, including favourites like Mango Sticky Rice, Boat Noodles, and more.
Register for the special celebration via Thai Supermarket’s link in their Instagram account’s bio. If you’re one of the first 50 people to turn up for the festival, you can also receive a complimentary limited edition goodie bag.

Not only that, grooming competitions, helpful talks covering topics like low-stress grooming tips, and workshops like cat massages will keep you occupied all day.

9. Nintendo POP-UP STORE

Nintendo fans, the wait is over.
The Nintendo POP-UP STORE is returning to Singapore once more at Jewel Changi Airport, and it’s not one you’ll want to miss.
Like the previous edition, exclusive merchandise will be sold at the pop-up. While not much information has been shared, the pop-up’s social media accounts have slowly teased the merchandise to be sold.
The teasing may be (painfully) slow, but what you can look forward to during the pop-up is an experience called the Jewel Circuit Challenge. Not much information has been provided but it seems to be a Mario Kart-related experience.
So to my Mario Kart enthusiasts, keep honing those driving skills before the opening!
