Aperitivo, Savoury, & Renewed Classics
Sweet tooth’s cocktail features the electrifying Pine Highball (S$28) with pine soda, Nutty by Nature (S$24) with deep notes of caramel and walnuts from nocino, and Witch Daiquiri (S$22) with sweet hints of floral notes.
Salt, spice, and everything nice (but not too sweet). The Amlfi Gimlet (S$28) infuses celery, Amatriciana (S$26) mixes tomato, and EVOOtini (S$26) seeps kelp, immersing you in a garden of vegetable cocktails, making every sip savoury.
Timeless pours are classic for a reason, and Bar Somma is reminding us with Torino Velvet (S$28), a creamy coffee-liqueur; Montalcino Cure (S$26), a unique concoction of rye; II Perugino (S$26), which contains roasted beetroot and pineapple caramel; and the most intriguing drink on the menu: the Taras Fungorum (S$26), which weaves mushroom tincture, a concentrated extract of mushroom liquor.
Pass the Plates
Plates to pair with your pours start with Marinated Olives (S$8) and Oyster Mushrooms (S$17) paired with beetroot ketchup. These sides go well with II Perugino and Taras Fungorum. The Yellowtail Amberjack Crudo (S$28) is dressed in pine nut milk and pairs well with the Pine Highball. Plates worth passing around are the Angus Steak Tartare (S$28), Fried Chicken (S$22) with hearty cacciatore sauce, and the Radiatori (S$34) pasta cooked with river crab.
Early Evening Ritual
Bar Somma invites you to Golden Hour, happening every Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 7.30pm. You can enjoy a complimentary serving of their Carbonara (U.P. S$22) when you purchase your first cocktail priced between S$22 and S$32.
