While there is no lack of quality gelato cafes in Singapore, Burnt Cones is probably one of the most popular places for people to go for gelato in the West, especially since it’s opened till 12am. After so long, they are finally venturing out of Clementi and Burnt Cones’ 2nd outlet will be located at The Sail at Marina Bay.
But won’t be a standalone shop as Burnt Cones will be part of the new Space at The Sail, which is a multi-label concept that features not just the popular gelato brand but also bakes from artisan home bakery Spatula and Whisk.
To celebrate their new opening, fans will be eligible for 1 free scoop of gelato on 22 October 2021 — all you have to do is RSVP on their events page, then head down between 6pm to 10pm. It’s limited to the first 500 registrations.
So if you’re a Burnt Cones fan, don’t miss out on the chance to head down to The Sail to celebrate their 2nd outlet and get rewarded for your loyalty with a scoop of their creamy gelato.
Of course, 1 scoop is never enough when it comes to ice cream so you’d definitely want to get more of those icy treats to cool yourself down through the sweltering heat that’s been plaguing us recently. You can get a Single Scoop at S$5, a Double Scoop at S$9 and Signature flavours cost S$1 more while Supremo flavours cost S$2 more.
You can choose from any of their 12 signature flavours that include Oreo, Kaya Cendol, Fior De Latte, Black Sesame, Uji Matcha, Strawberry Basil, and Ube, a striking purple-hued sweet potato flavour.
And let’s be honest, most of us prefer to eat our gelato with something with more bite so Burnt Cones has Brownies (S$6), Waffles (S$8), and even IG-worthy Smoked Waffles (S$14) if you prefer your ice cream with a dose of intoxicating smoke.
