This year’s installations at CHIJMES and Capitol Singapore offer an exciting lineup of fun for all the family that includes skating, snow play, and a fun Christmas Market that transports you to the streets of Germany.
Capitol
Snow Play & Snowfall
While the snowfall is happening at 7pm every night for a chance at Singaporeans to experience a white Christmas, the Snow Play area entails more snow-heavy fun such as making snow angels and building a snowman in a Snow Dome at S$5 for a 30-minute session.

Christmas Market
Christmas markets are markedly what make the evening stroll in winter time so special. There’re just few things that come close to strolling along street stalls with a hot cocoa in hand on a blustery evening. Here, you’ll be able to shop for all sorts of gifts while supporting local, such as the likes of hand-poured candles from Zendle, resin coasters and keychains from Floral Knots, tea from Pétale Tea, and popcorn from the famed myEureka.

Sidecar Civic District Tour
For a unique treat that doesn’t always come by during Christmas, hop onto a vespa, or sidecar, tour that’ll take you around the district through iconic heritage landmarks such as Hill Street Fire Station, The National Museum, Padang, and more. Skating Rink
The mini lawn transforms into a skating rink this Christmas where you’ll get to enjoy the thrills of outdoor skating despite the 30-degree celcius weather, and free of the winter chills. Admission to the rink is S$5, not inclusive of the rental of the skating shoes, skating aids, helmets, knee guards, elbow guards, and socks, which are chargeable according to prevailing fees.

Projection Mapping
Catch a free-to-view light show that is the projection mapping across the CHIJMES building, accompanied with festive music on Mondays to Thursdays. On Fridays and the weekends, the interactive message dedications will be projected instead, so if you’ve been looking for the chance to pull a grand gesture for your loved one, now’s your opportunity to.
