Here’s how you can eat your way through City Square Mall from just S$2

by Christabel Tan

Be it catching a late-night movie, getting in a week’s worth of grocery shopping, or eating hotpot at 1am, City Square Mall has always got your back — even for those who don’t live in or around Farrer Park.

For the uninitiated, the mall is centrally located at Farrer Park MRT Station (NEL8), making it super easy to get to.

This month is a particularly good time to visit, though, as the mall has finally unveiled its refreshed food stalls at Basements 1 and 2, back and better than ever with a line-up of exciting F&B kiosks, including good ol’ crowd favourites and brand new offerings.

Whether you like it sweet or savoury, or spicy, there’s something for everyone, especially for those who are constantly on the go.

To celebrate the opening of F&B merchants in the revamped food basement, City Square Mall will be launching S$2 Yummy Deals that’ll be available for a limited time only, from 22 March to 14 April 2024.

That’s right — you’ll be able to eat your way through the mall and enjoy signature items from over 10 unique F&B kiosks at the low, low price of S$2!

If Ya Kun Kaya Toast (#B1-K18) is your favourite chain to visit for kaya toast in Singapore, you’re in luck, as you’ll get to enjoy their Kaya Butter Steamed Bread (U.P. S$6.40) for just S$2. Perfect for those who can’t let go of their beloved kaya-butter combi, but are seeking a healthier option.

For a super fuss-free and value-for-money meal, it’s hard to go wrong with the hearty local fare at EAT (#B1-K3). They’re best known for bak chor mee, laksa, fried carrot cake, and most notably, Chicken Chop Curry Rice that you can enjoy in a Set (U.P. S$7) with Ice Lemon Tea for just S$2
