Try 8 Wacky Doughnut Flavours in Singapore this Doughnut Day 2025

by Maeve Moore

Hole-y moly! These aren’t your average treats. It’s Doughnut Day 2025, and we’re not here to sugarcoat things.

While you could celebrate with a good old glazed doughnut, we’ve gone a step further and found the wildest, funkiest, and wonderfully wacky flavours being served up around Singapore.

Ready to taste the unusual? Let’s roll.

Make sure to scroll all the way to the end for a little treat.

Doughnut Shack: Salted Sesame Goma Ganache & Matcha Kinako Ganache

This isn’t your basic chocolate glaze.

Doughnut Shack features a Salted Sesame Goma Ganache on the menu. Think rich black sesame paste, silky ganache, and a savoury hit. It’s a flavour that’s so nutty and nuanced — your favourite goma dessert in doughnut form.

Another stunner from Doughnut Shack, the Matcha Kinako Ganache combines earthy green tea with roasted soy flour. If zen had a flavour, this would be it.

Try these flavours and more with their Box of 6 Doughnuts (S$16.90).

Lukumades: Spicy K-POP & Pistachio Kunafa

These Greek-style doughnuts are here to crash the party with a Mediterranean twist.

Named after the Greek doughnuts, Lukumades offer crispy golden doughnut balls in a variety of flavours. The Spicy K-POP and Pistachio Kunafa take the cake (or doughnut?).

The Spicy K-POP (S$12) challenges our taste buds with spicy Korean and drizzled cheese sauces. Is a savoury doughnut still a doughnut?

On the flip side, the sweeter Pistachio Kunafa (S$15) is topped with a golden kunafa crunch and tahini sauce. It’s crunchy, sticky, and downright delightful.

It’s a hole new world of flavour.

Breakfast? Dessert? Why not both?

Puffs and Peaks’ Sour Cream and Chives Doughnut (S$4.50) nails both with the pillowy, savoury treat.

If you’re craving something sweet, the Mango and Pomelo (S$4.30) is just as unique. Where else would you find this combination of fruits, wrapped in a fluffy dough?

By now, you’re probably not going to be shocked by another savoury doughnut.

However, the Torched Mentaiko Cream (S$6.50) by The Fat Kid Bakery is still turning heads with its innovative flavours.

It’s definitely one to try, serving to prove that doughnuts don’t have to be sweet to steal the spotlight.
