It doesn’t take a trip to America to know that these Eggslut sandwiches are going to be the bomb.
Founded in 2011, this famous LA chain specialises in creamy egg sandwiches, a weakness for most human beings. They started as a humble food truck, serving fresh grub on the streets of Los Angeles before setting up a permanent food stall and making it to the top.
Set to open in Orchard Scotts Square later this year, Singaporeans will finally get to try those deliciously creamy and decadent scrambled egg sandwiches.

Eggslut’s menu hasn’t been released yet, but we can take a cue from their existing LA menu.
Their most popular item would be the Fairfax. Cage-free eggs are scrambled with chives, topped with melted cheddar cheese, sauteed caramelised onions and drizzled with sriracha mayo. All that goodness sandwiched between two warm and crispy brioche buns.
The Bacon, Egg & Cheese makes a hearty breakfast. Made with hardwood smoked bacon, cage-free over medium egg, cheddar cheese and chipotle ketchup in a warm brioche bun, this is sure to fill up your tummy.
These are sinful treats that’ll add to your calorie intake for sure. So if you’d like to enjoy these babies with less guilt, Eggslut allows the bread to be swapped for a salad at no extra cost.
Other specialities include The Slut, which is coddled egg on top of a smooth mash potato puree. It’s poached in a glass jar, topped with grey salt and chives, served with slices of baguette to dip it all up.
For the sweet tooths, there’s even the Buttermilk Biscuit and Salted Chocolate Chip Cookie.
There are no indications of the pricing for now, but we can expect the sandwiches to be priced around S$12 if compared to their Japanese and Korean outlets.
