Attention all drivers!
We’ll soon be required to change our car’s in-vehicle Unit (IU) to the new On-Board Unit (OBU). What this also means is that we’ll need to start changing our old cashcards to the ones that are compatible with the new unit — like the EZ-Link Motoring Card.
Great news to everyone who has or is planning to get their hands on the EZ-Link Motoring Card, the card is compatible with your vehicle’s new OBU — which means if you are currently using it in your IU, you’ll be able to use the card once your new OBU is installed.
There’s even more to the good news — EZ-Link is giving away up to S$5000 in petrol vouchers when you use your EZ-Link motoring card for all your motoring needs. If you’ve seen the petrol prices lately (yikes), you’ll wanna stick around to see how you can get a chance to score some handy petrol vouchers.
The card is super easy to pair with the EZ-Link app and one of my favourite features is the top-up function which can be done via the EZ-Link app with no additional fees. If you’re like me and have a tendency to forget about topping up your card, you can also apply for Auto Top-up. No more worrying about whether you have enough money in your card to pay for parking or ERP.
Other cool features of the app include tracking your transactions, which is great for helping you keep track of how much you spend on parking and ERP charges. You can even block your card — perfect for when you lose your card — and transfer the remaining balance to a new EZ-Link card.
Parking in Singapore can get crazy expensive — just a few hours along Orchard Road will set you back at least S$10. And don’t get us started on the ERP prices. But while these costs are unavoidable, EZ-Link is now rewarding you with reward points for transactions made at carparks and ERP payments.
These reward points can be used to redeem attractive rewards for your motoring needs like car detailing and battery replacement. You can also redeem F&B, lifestyle, groceries rewards and more. Find out more about the EZ-Link motoring card here.
But, the one reward that we are all looking forward to is the petrol vouchers, especially since petrol prices have been on the rise — to around S$2.80 per litre. If you’re feeling the pinch from this, here’s how EZ-Link can help you.
Currently, EZ-Link is giving away up to S$5000 worth of petrol vouchers from now until 31 December 2023. Each week, 50 lucky winners will get to win S$20 petrol vouchers each when you use Mastercard® to top up your EZ-Link Motoring Card for all your motoring transactions. If you’re lucky enough, you could stand a chance to win up to S$100 worth of petrol vouchers at the end of the campaign period — which could easily cover the cost of one full tank of petrol.
To stand a chance to win these vouchers, all you gotta do is to pair your Motoring Card with the EZ-Link app, then top up a minimum of S$20 to your EZ-Link Motoring Card with Mastercard.
Once done, you just need to make five ERP or carpark transactions — which should be pretty easy since it’s the holiday season and you’ll probably be heading out to plenty of year-end parties. Once you’ve made an eligible top-up and five transactions, you will earn one chance at the lucky draw – find out more here!
Lucky winners will be notified via email along with the link to redeem the S$20 petrol voucher so make sure you update your EZ-Link profile with your personal details.
The EZ-Link Motoring Card is available at EZ-Link official Shopee shop, VICOM, STA Inspection centres, Cheers and Fairprice Xpress stores at Esso stations, Caltex and selected 7-Eleven stores. Once again, the lucky draw campaign ends on 31 December 2023, so don’t miss out on this awesome deal and grab your cards now!
Will you be zooming around Singapore this weekend? Make sure to use your EZ-Link Motoring Card!
