August is blooming with new experiences at Gardens by the Bay – Here’s a full rundown of what’s in store for you.
Lilytopia
Gardens by the Bay’s first Ancient Egypt-themed floral display has arrived! Wander through Nile-fed gardens, vivid temple settings, and lilies in every colour – including the rare Egyptian Blue Lotus, once buried alongside pharaohs. Catch Lilytopia at Flower Dome from 21 August 2026 to 27 September 2026.
Sensory Moments
Sensory Moments will also be happening on 29 August 2026, 2pm to 5pm, located at the South American Garden, Mediterranean Garden, and Flower Field within the Flower Dome. Admission to this programme is free; however, entry into the Flower Dome requires a separate ticket. You’ll get to see the blue water lily open with the sun, and learn why Egypt’s ‘lotus’ is really a water lily in disguise.
Lily-Adorned Soap Bar
Craft your own Lily-Adorned Soap Bar with Just Truly Yours! Choose from pure essential oils and phthalate-free fragrances to customise your scent. Catch this workshop at Australian Garden, Flower Dome, 22 August 2026 to 23 August 2026, 10am to 6pm, priced at S$15 per participant (inclusive of activity materials). Do note that a separate ticket is required for entry into the Flower Dome and registration for this workshop is available onsite only. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
Lily Pipe Flowers
Craft your own everlasting lily bloom with Happy Hands Can! Learn simple pipe cleaner shaping techniques while exploring the anatomy of a lily flower, then pick your favourite colour to bring it to life. Catch this workshop at Australian Garden, Flower Dome, 29 August 2026 to 30 August 2026, 10am to 5pm for S$15 per participant (inclusive of activity materials, except vase).
This activity is suitable for ages 5 and above, and do purchase a Flower Dome admission separately. Sign up onsite! Slots are limited.
