Two years after opening its doors to visitors, New Bahru is finally complete, now housing more than 60 brands within its blocks. To celebrate its completion, the creative cluster will be hosting a weekend block party-style Open House on 29 & 30 August 2026.
Whether you have visited New Bahru before or not, this could be the time to rediscover creativity, community, and culture on the grounds of this lifestyle destination.
Mini Lawn Festival

The main anchor of Open House over the weekend will be a Mini Lawn Festival taking place at the Outdoor Lawn area. Here, you will find live music, entertainment, and special pop-ups serving all-day bites and vibes.
On Saturday (29 August), visitors can look forward to live music by Groovetop from 2pm to 8pm, featuring Funk, Soul, R&B, House, and Disco. At the same time on Sunday (30 August), Sing Song Social Club collaborates with Wild Pearl for another groovy day-to-night outdoor event.

Looking for something to eat or drink during your time at New Bahru? Food & beverage pop-ups from vendors like Part Thai and Ahimsa will be open from 11am to 8pm on both days. There will also be a central bar you can purchase drinks from.
‘IN-BETWEEN’ Exhibition Marketplace

For those of you with an artistic side, you can also explore the IN-BETWEEN Exhibition Marketplace at New Bahru’s School Hall at Level 2. Starting a day earlier on 28 August 2026, this is a three-day creative playground featuring over 50 designers, artists and makers.
This is not just your traditional art market, but one where live performances, interactive experiences, and experimental showcases collide. Note that this is a ticketed event, so be sure to grab yours if you’re interested in checking it out. For more information on what to expect and ticket purchases, click here.
Community Specials & Exclusive Merchandise

Across the different blocks of New Bahru, you will also find exclusive experiences, special drops, and limited-time menus from the creative cluster’s resident brands and collaborations.

Throughout the two days, you can also find a Stamp Buffet Party hosted by illustrator Toby Tan (@tobyato) and artist Jon Chan. Located at Beyond the Vines Design House and IN-BETWEEN, you can get your personal items live-stamped with original designs from tobyato.
