As a lover of orchestra music and an OG Genshin player of three years, I have been praying every single day for Genshin’s developer, HoYoverse, to hold a live concert in Singapore.
My wish — no, our wish has finally come true with the 2023 Genshin Concert Tour: Melodies of an Endless Journey, celebrating the third anniversary of the popular game that has taken the world by storm.
Genshin Concert Tour will be coming to Singapore for two nights on 2 and 3 October at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The two and a half hour concert will showcase Genshin Impact’s original soundtracks composed by HOYO-MiX.
There are no details on the list of songs to be performed at the time of writing, but by the promotional video released on Genshin Impact’s official YouTube channel, we can anticipate songs associated with featured characters like Zhongli, Xiao, Tartaglia and Ganyu to make an appearance.
As the pioneer of bringing immersive movie-concerts like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter to Asian audiences, and with experience in collaborating with renowned game franchises like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra will be undertaking the grand task of bringing Genshin’s incredible soundtrack to life.
The conductor will be Thanapol Setabrahmana, Assistant Music Director of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and one of Thailand’s leading young conductors.
Internet and mobile sales for Early Birds begin on 24 August 2023, 12pm to 10 September 2023, 11.59pm, while public sales begin from 11 September 2023, 12am. Other channels such as SISTIC agents will have Early Bird sales lasting from 24 August 2023, 12pm to 10 September 2023, 8pm while public sales will begin later at 10am on 11 September 2023.
Ticket holders will receive an in-game item redemption card and a physical commemorative concert ticket at the event.
