As predicted, self-photo studios in Singapore offering the 0.5x wide angle are as popular as ever.

Tucked away in The Pink House along North Bridge Road (look out for the iconic Zam Zam Restaurant and go up the staircase to level 2) is Good Ass Studio, the fourth studio in Singapore to offer photobooths with this trendy top-down angle.

There are two monochromatic booths available in the photo-worthy, light-filled space, as well as as an extensive selection of props and a full-length mirror.

As far as props are concerned, you won’t find anything too gimmicky or colourful, so be prepared to strike your coolest poses with your choice of futuristic Y2K-esque glasses, headphones, film cameras, or gloves — all free-to-use, of course.

There will be a 20 second countdown that starts as soon as you select your photo options and make payment.

Choose from three different formats, with prices starting from S$8 for a Profile Pic Shot. However, most tend to go for either the 4 or 6 Square Multishot (S$10 per copy, S$2 per additional copy), inclusive of free digital copies — the latter is the most value-for-money option, in my opinion.

Fun fact: Good Ass Studio is also pet-friendly, but due to it being located on the same level as a cafe, all pet owners will need to carry their furry friends in a pet cage or bag!
There’s never been a better time to go photobooth-hopping in Bugis with your besties than now.
