Guzman y Gomez (GYG), known for its Mexican-style fast food, has experimented with unique flavours in the past. But its latest limited-edition creation might be its most surprising yet.

For the first time, GYG is bringing Korean flavours into its menu by teaming up with local kimchi specialist JIN Kimchi. The result? Cheesy Kimchi Beef filling.

I’m not sure about you, but in my opinion, combining Korean and Mexican cuisines just makes so much sense. Both usually feature bold flavours with a kick, and with the right ingredients, it definitely would work.

In the case of GYG’s Cheesy Kimchi Beef filling, the main stars are ground beef, kimchi, and melted cheese. And for those wondering, yes, this collaboration with JIN Kimchi meets GYG’s clean brand promise.

This is achieved by JIN’s commitment to making fresh kimchi daily with no preservatives and minimal additives. MSG and sugar are also removed in the process, so every bite is not just delicious, but natural and clean.

The Cheesy Kimchi Beef filling is available in all of GYG’s classic menu items: Burritos, Bowls, Tacos, Quesadillas, Nacho Fries, and more. The best part? There is no additional surcharge for items bought with the new filling, and you can try it at any GYG restaurant in Singapore.

The new GYG Cheesy Kimchi Beef will be available for a limited time, starting 20 October 2026. I guess I know what I’m getting for lunch the rest of the month. You?
