Apple’s latest iPhone 18 Pro series is releasing this week, but the tech giant has just dropped another piece of good news that might excite you even more. Starting end-September, iCloud+ subscribers in Singapore will gain access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their subscription – at no additional cost.

Longtime Apple users will be familiar with iCloud+ – a subscription service that grants additional cloud storage and automatically backs up photos, videos, files, apps, and more. It also syncs data across devices, so users can switch around without worrying about losing anything that matters.

However, starting this month, iCloud+ subscribers will also get to enjoy a suite of entertainment options alongside the backup service, all under one convenient subscription

Apple TV is Apple’s streaming service known for its award-winning drama series, films, and documentaries. Familiar titles include Ted Lasso, Severance, and F1. Aside from these hits, the platform also sees new releases every week. You’ll find hundreds of Apple Originals worth your watch time.

Apple Arcade, on the other hand, gives you access to more than 200 games and endless hours of fun. The curated catalogue includes instantly recognisable titles such as NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Angry Birds Reloaded, Cooking Mama: Cuisine!, Subway Surfers+, and more.

Apple TV is available via the Apple TV app on virtually any screen, including iPhones, iPads, Apple TV 4K, Macs, smart TVs, and gaming consoles. Games in Apple Arcade can be played on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TV 4K.

For Singaporean iCloud+ users, a collection of ad-free stations dubbed Apple Music Select will also be available via the Apple Music app. Check it out if you’d like to mix up your daily playlists.

Pricing

Here’s the best part – all these new additions are available from the lowest tier 50GB iCloud+ subscription, which costs just S$1.48 a month. You can even share your subscription with up to 5 family members, bringing the monthly subscription fees down further. And yes, no additional costs are required.

Higher storage tiers are also available, up to 12TB at S$84.98 per month. For more information on all available iCloud+ plans, click here.

As of the time of writing, no specific date for the latest iCloud+ rollout has been confirmed, other than that it will be “through the end of September”, so we’ll have to stay tuned. For those wondering, Apple Arcade and Apple TV will no longer be available as individual subscriptions in Singapore, but current subscribers will continue to have uninterrupted access through their iCloud+ subscription.

Whether you are already an Apple user or are swapping over soon, this free upgrade to iCloud+ is a win for everyone. Here’s hoping the subscription fees will stay at their current pricing for long.
