Gone were the days where people would actually go to IKEA for furniture shopping, when we all know that the cafeteria is its main attraction. After all, it’s known for its affordable pricing and variety of seasonal food. With February rolling in, you bet that there’ll be new IKEA limited-edition items.
IKEA limited-edition items while stocks last
Since IKEA’s Mala Chicken Wings were well-received by fellow Singaporeans, there’s no reason not to add Mala Crayfish into the mix. For S$11, expect 6 pieces of plump and juicy crayfish, all generously drenched in a numbing mala sauce that’ll give your senses a kick.
This dish will be available from 8 February to 13 February, at both Alexandra and Tampines outlets.
Finding a seat at the cafeteria seems almost impossible now, with COVID-19’s space restraints. But with Swedish Meatballs In A Cup (S$5) on the menu, you’ll get to walk away with their signature meatballs at least.
Served with mashed potatoes, creamy brown sauce, and lingonberry jam, this is a combination that’ll never go wrong. The IKEA limited-edition will unfortunately, be available only at their Tampines branch, while stocks last.
Dishes such as Mee Siam (S$2.50) and Mee Rubus (S$2.50) are already on its breakfast menu. But if you prefer a lighter bite, the Chee Cheong Fun With Mushroom And Minced Chicken (S$3.50) will do just the trick.
This will only be available for breakfast at their Alexandra outlet from 1 February to 15 February.
Plus, with Valentine’s Day coming up, IKEA remains as a viable date location. After window shopping and subtly hinting bae for BTO, hop on to the restaurant for the 12 Plant Ball With Pasta And Truffle Flavoured Mushroom Sauce (S$9), a Valentine’s Day special.
This will be available from 14 February to 21 February.
