I’m always hyped to hear about IKEA Singapore‘s new seasonal food offerings. What deals and delights (hint: a Swedish Waffle Day) do we have in March 2022?
New menu items
IKEA is introducing its very own take on shepherd’s pie with the Salmon Shepherd Pie with Mushroom Soup (S$12 for IKEA Family, S$13.40 for public) that’ll be available until 31 May. At the same time, let’s celebrate the return of the Lamb Shank with Mixed Vegetables (S$15.90). Don’t wait too long though; this will only be on the menu till 31 March.
Available only on 26 March is the Earth Hour specials: Plant-based Schnitzel and Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce (S$8.90), Mushroom Soup and Garlic Bread (S$8.90), and Vegetable Balls with Curry Sauce (S$5). Do note that the latter is exclusive to the IKEA Tampines and Alexandra outlets.
Every S$2 will be used to fund a food distribution programme in partnership with Food from the Heart.
New local & breakfast specials at IKEA Jurong
Westies, you’re in luck. IKEA Jurong will be featuring a rotating menu of local delights for a limited time only, including Nasi Biryani (S$5.50), Gado Gado (S$5.50), and Ayam Penyet (S$5.50). All dishes are available from 11.30 to 3pm, while stocks last.
Don’t miss out on the special breakfast menu from now till 30 April 2022. Tuck into a hearty Scrambled Egg and Chicken Bolognese Sauce with Bun Breakfast Set for the low, low, price of S$1.90. Yes, you heard right.
Kids Eat Free
Bring the kids to IKEA this March holidays — Kids Eat Free returns from now till 18 March for all IKEA Family members. Enjoy a free kids meal with every one main purchased from the adult menu. It’s going to be cloudy with a chance of meatballs, that’s for sure.
Waffle Day
Waffle Day falls on 25 March in Sweden, and IKEA is bringing the festivities to our shores with two new waffle dishes: English Waffle with Lingonberry, Chocolate Sauce and Cream (S$3 for IKEA Family, S$3.50 for public) and English Waffle with Marinated Salmon and Green Salad (S$4.90 for IKEA Family, S$5.90 for public). Both dishes will be available from 21 to 25 March only — you batter not miss out.
