Burgers — the universally loved, no-frills comfort food that hits the spot every single time. Whether you like yours smashed, saucy, or stacked sky-high, International Burger Day on 28 May 2025 is the perfect excuse to treat yourself.
Here’s our roundup of six burger joints bringing the best bites this year, with exclusive promotions.
1. KFC

On 28 May 2025 only between 12pm and 4pm, KFC is letting you try your luck at winning one of 500 free burgers at Plaza Singapura to celebrate.
To snag a free burger, you have to be one of the first 500 visitors to flash the KFC app account page to the staff. After that, you’ll receive a token to take on KFC’s sure-win claw machine (claw machine experts, this is your time to shine).
Each capsule snag allows you to redeem either the all-new Breakfast Loaded Burger (U.P. S$5.65) or the Ultimate Smokey Burger (U.P. S$8.45). There are only 250 of each burger available, so keep your fingers crossed.
But wait — the burgers can only be redeemed from 29 May 2025 to 11 June 2025 at any KFC outlet (except KFC Sentosa, Zoo, and Singapore Poly).

Of the many otherworldly options, try the UFO Nebula Classic (S$10.80) with a 120g Wagyu patty.
If you think pineapples on pizza is the ultimate controversial debate, you may want to sit down for the UFO Supernova Mentaiko (S$12.80). This burger has chicken, pineapple, and housemade mentaiko mayo.
