When life gives you buns, make burgers — which is exactly what Burgs is doing after its mysterious disappearance from the food scene in 2023.

After two long years, Burgs is finally reopening its doors to the public on 23 May 2025. Situated along Bussorah Street, also known as Arab Street, their new outlet is located in a two-storey shophouse designed to seat up to 100 people.
For one day only during their grand opening, enjoy a limited-edition Chilli Cheese Burger Meal consisting of a single or double patty burger, chilli cheese fries, and chilli dip.
The first 100 customers will also be able to redeem a free Burgs tote bag (limited to one bag per receipt).

If you missed the opening promo, fret not! International Burger Day falls on 28 May 2025, and Burgs is celebrating with 50% off your second burger purchase.
So, what’s new? Burgs is introducing Monthly DJ Nights, so you can enjoy good music in-house. They’re also here for your late-night cravings, since they’ll be open until 1am from Thursdays to Saturdays.

As always, their brioche buns are baked fresh daily and complemented by 100% pure beef patties. All burgers can be upgraded into a meal for an additional S$3.90.
Look forward to the new signature burger sauce made of caramelised onions and the fragrance of chicken skin.
We tried The Original (S$13), the signature cheeseburger. It’s juicy, and you can never go wrong with a classic burger.

Or, switch things up with the Bae Con (S$15), an elevated version of the original burger with turkey bacon and homemade barbecue sauce.
Not moo-ved by beef burgers? Choose the fried chicken burger, the Big Bird (S$12), or the battered fish burger, the Fish & Chips (S$14).

For sides, try the Nuggies (S$7 for 6 pieces, S$9.50 for 9 pieces, S$18 for 20 pieces). This reminded us of chicken karaage instead of the regular nuggets you’d expect from fast food places, so don’t let the name confuse you.

Opt for the Original or Spicy Seaweed flavour, then drown your chicken in accompanying sauces such as Ranch, Spicy Nacho Cheese, Curry, or Spicy Kicap Manis.

Don’t forget to add on Fries (S$4.50), Onion Rings (S$4.90), or Burgs’ Sig Fries (S$5.50), an elevated fries and nuggies side that comes topped with sauce.
After your heart meal, wash down everything with the Homemade Black Lemonade (S$5.90), which contains gut-healthy charcoal. Remember to shake the can well before drinking, otherwise you’ll be left with black streaks on your teeth and tongue (admin had a good laugh at her dining partner).

End on a high note with the Banana and Peanut Butter Pie (S$4). As banana lovers, this certainly gets our stamp of approval, although it’s a little greasier and sweeter than we’d prefer.

For something lighter, opt for the Fresh Mango Sorbet (S$5.90), topped with mango chunks.
