Calling all Japanese culture enthusiasts! The Japan Rail Fair 2026 is taking place from 15 to 17 October 2026 at Urban Park, Guoco Tower. This annual event, held outside Japan Rail Cafe, is returning for its seventh edition and promises to bring Japan’s traditions and flavours to visitors again.
Journey into Culture
The 3-day event, themed ‘Journey into Culture’, will spotlight lesser-known parts of Eastern Japan beyond destinations many are already familiar with. Admission is free, and visitors will get to explore 17 interactive booths from regional tourism organisations, travel businesses, and Japanese brands.
This includes booths where you can sample food and drinks such as Wasabi-flavoured snacks, freshly harvested Japanese pears, and Yamaguchi sake and fugu (pufferfish). And as usual, the Japan Rail Fair’s popular Eki Stamp Rally is back too.
Collectors can collect custom-designed stamps across the booths and stand a chance to win prizes in a Daily Lucky Draw.
Lucky Draw & Goodie Bags
The Lucky Draw takes place at 7pm each day, with prizes ranging from rail passes and hotel stays to a luxury cruise voyage for 2 in a Midship Suite worth more than S$10,000. This 4-day, 3-night cruise is without a doubt the Grand Prize and will take you and a companion on a journey to discover Kobe and Kochi.
300 goodie bags will also be given over the 3-day fair to participants of the Eki Stamp Rally. Each bag contains a limited-edition Event Stamp Passbook (S$3) that stamp collectors would definitely love.
