Bangkok is truly shaping up to become the shopping paradise we all know and love. With the ever popular Jodd Fairs, Chatuchak Night Market, and even thrift heaven Bangsue Junction.
Riding on the latest trend of Y2K film and digicams, there’s a new warehouse in Bangkok that specialises in these old-school cameras, and they’re priced from just S$10 each — how awesome is that?
Located just 30 minutes away from Siam Square, Lucky Home Samrong is a massive warehouse space that is filled with all sorts of vintage and preloved cameras.
These aren’t just any old cameras though, they’re all imported from Japan, and they’re all heavily discounted, up to 90% off! If you’ve been looking for a sign to jump onto the bandwagon, now’s your chance.
One thing you must note though is that everything here is laid out in large crates which means you’ll have to dig through these crates in order to find your hidden gems — it is a warehouse afterall. That said, we highly recommend that you spend more time shopping here because there are tons of crates to look through.
If you’re patient enough, you might be able to dig up an old-school Canon digicam or even a Yashicaflex and Richoflex camera. Prices for the cameras start from just 200THB which is around S$7 — try finding an old-school camera at that price in Singapore.
Apart from digital cameras, you can also expect to find film cameras, camcorders, camera lenses, camera bags, accessories and so much more! They also have racks of clothes and furniture available here too. Simply arm yourself with a basket and start digging.
Wanna snap old-school vibey pics? Head down to this massive warehouse to uncover some hidden gems!
