MapleSEA turned 21 this year! For those of you like me who played it when you were younger, do you feel old yet? MapleStory is a hit online game that every kid would have either played or heard of, especially during the mid-to-late 2000s.
If you want to relive fond memories of the game you played daily after school, or are an active player today, you should definitely drop by Marina Square this weekend for MapleSEA’s 21st Anniversary event.
Maple Campus
From 16 to 18 October 2026, the Main Atrium of Marina Square has been transformed into Maple Campus, a school-themed event ground with a distinct Maple flair. You will walk through gates onto paths that will lead you to different experience zones.
Before you enter the School Zones, note that there are 2 kinds of entries – one with RSVP and one without. For dedicated Maplers, you would definitely want to purchase the RSVP Package before your visit.
This pack includes entry to Maple Campus, an Exclusive RSVP Tote Bag, a Leather Card Holder with Lanyard, and a Mascot Magnetic Name Tag. It also comes with a Lucky Draw Ticket and a ‘Welcome to Maple Campus!’ Package with redeemable in-game items.
Each RSVP Package also includes a Student Handbook, which you will need to fully enjoy your time at Maple Campus. But more on that later! RSVP Packages are available at S$21, while stocks last. Grab yours from Eventbrite.
For those of you who are just casual fans who want to drop by for the celebration without buying an RSVP Package – you can! The event is actually free to attend. You can even explore the different zones and complete a Free Stamp Rally to redeem a random gift from the Orange Mushroom’s Gift gachapon.
But here is where those who purchased RSVP Packages will enjoy an expanded experience. The Student Handbook in the packages comes with an upgraded Stamp Rally with more rewards to claim.
Beyond just Orange Mushroom’s Gift, Maplers who complete their Student Handbook’s Stamp Rally will also get an exclusive in-game code and a customised Student ID Card.
Activity Hall
You might be wondering what “quests” you would need to complete on your Stamp Rally adventure. At Maple Campus, you can look forward to activities that will test your Maple knowledge and skills.
Carling’s Pop Quiz will throw a bunch of questions your way. To answer ‘true’ or ‘false’, you’ll need to step on either the O or X zone.
At Kendo Practice with Serene, you will pick up swords and slash your way through monsters as quickly as you can before time runs out. Bring out your inner Maple in the real world and earn those stamps!
Campus Bookstore (Merchandise Store)
This will probably be one of the most popular spots amongst MapleStory players. Just a few steps away from the main Maple Campus grounds, you will find the Campus Bookstore Merchandise Store.
When we visited on the first morning of the event, there were already enthusiastic fans waiting to get their hands on some 21st Anniversary Merchandise. And the range is quite expansive.
From Plush Cushions (S$55) and T-shirts (S$35–S$40) to Mascot Blind Boxes (S$20) and Desk Mats (S$35–S$38) and more, there will definitely be something Maplers will want to bring home. I mean, just look at those huggable Orange Mushroom and Rock Spirit Plush Cushions!
If you’d like to join the MapleSEA community to commemorate the game’s 21st birthday, there’s no better place to do so outside of the virtual world this weekend. You can also drop by the Yearbook and Hall of Heroes Clubhouse wall to see if you and your Maple buddies are featured!
Throughout the 3-day event, there will also be daily Stage Games, a Cake Celebration, a Sudden Mission, and a Lucky Draw to participate in. For the full programme schedule, merchandise list, and Lucky Draw prizes, visit MapleSEA’s official website.
