First, Jay Chou and JJ Lin announced their concerts in Singapore this year. Then, let’s not forget Boys Like Girls, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish and now — Maroon 5.
After almost three years of waiting, Maroon 5 fans will finally be able to see their favourite band members (yessss, Adam Levine!) doing their thing again at the concert that’s going to be held at the National Stadium on November 28. Do note that the concert will be on a Monday, so remember to apply for your leaves beforehand if you have to!
Organised by Live Nation SG (who also organised BlackPink, BTS and Twice’s concerts), the concert comes as a really pleasant surprise as the band announced our sunny island as the last stop of their 2022 World Tour on their Instagram this morning (what a great way to kick off the weekends!).
Even if you’re not a hardcore fan of Maroon 5, it’s probably safe to say that you’ve heard many of the award-winning band’s chart topping hits like Sugar (heard this at almost every wedding I’ve been to the year that it came out, but not complaining), Payphone, Maps, Moves Like Jagger and more.
If you’re a millennial or zillennial, then you’ll probably also recognise some of the oldies but goldies like She Will Be Loved (which recently hit 1 billion streams on Spotify!), Misery and Won’t Go Home Without You.
Known for their electrifying stage performances and charisma, there’s no doubt that you’ll have a really exciting night jamming out and singing your heart out to all these songs — old and new.
This will also be the first time Maroon 5’s performing in Singapore since they released their latest album JORDI (which includes hits like Beautiful Mistakes and Memories), so you’ll have bragging rights for hearing them live first here.
Who knows, maybe they’ll love performing here so much that they decide to stay for One More Night.
More ticketing information will be released at a later date, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates to avoid disappointment!
