When I discovered this latest collaboration between Messina and Queic by Olivia, it’s as if someone read my mind and decided to create sweet treats I would struggle to resist. If you’re a fan of both gelato ice cream and cheesecakes, you’ll get what I mean.
Let’s start with what you will find at Messina, the Australian gelato brand known for its wide range of creative flavours. For a limited time, patrons can enjoy 2 new flavours – Buttery Blue Cheese and Eazy Brie-zy.
Yes, you didn’t read that wrong. The first features blue cheese in Butter Pecan Gelato, as well as Olivia’s Signature Cheesecake Chunks and Candied Pecans. The second is an amazing mixture of Honey Brie Gelato, Brie Cheesecake Chunks, Candied Walnuts, and Fig Jam.
No matter what you choose, you will taste cheesecake in the form of a nutty frozen treat, with just the right amount of crunch, cream, and cheese.
Over at Queic, you will also find both of those indulgent gelato flavours, but this time sandwiched between Brown Butter Hazelnut Sablé Cookies. As if a cheesecake-and-gelato combination isn’t enough, the dessert boutique takes it up a notch by adding cookies and a touch of Honey Lemon Caramel.
