Are you still waiting in anticipation for Japan to loosen up travel restrictions? Here’s a piece of news that may help you curb those withdrawals (for now):
Japan’s No. 1 doughnut chain, Mister Donut, is finally making its first foray into Singapore on 15 July 2022 at Jurong Point — for a very limited time.
The news was announced via a Facebook post by WAttention Plaza, the Japanese-inspired ‘pop-up’ event space with retail and food kiosks on B1 of Jurong Point.
This exciting pop-up kiosk will feature some of Mister Donut’s most loved products, including Chocolate, Angel Cream, and Honey Dip Doughnuts, as well as the signature Pon De Ring. A single doughnut is priced at S$2.30 or S$2.50, but you can also order them in batches of six and ten.
I personally can’t wait to get my hands on my favourite French Crueller.
You can get your fill of fluffy handcrafted doughnuts starting from 15 July 2022 for one month only (while stocks last). At the time of writing, there are no plans for pre-orders; make sure to head down early before your favourite doughnut flavour sells out.
I can already see the queues forming. Perhaps Mister Donut will set up a store (or two) in Singapore after this? Fingers crossed!
