Lilytopia at Gardens by the Bay

For all of you flower lovers, your eyes are in for a treat. Gardens by the Bay’s first Ancient Egypt-themed floral display has arrived. Lilytopia at Flower Dome invites you to wander through Nile-fed gardens, vivid temple settings, and lilies in every colour. 

This includes the rare Egyptian Blue Lotus, once buried alongside pharaohs. This limited-time flower exhibition starts on 21 August 2026 and runs for only a month, until 27 September 2026.

Standard admission tickets to the Flower Dome (S$12 for local adults) are required to access Lilytopia. Grab your tickets here.

Singapore Night Festival

Another event starting on 21 August 2026 is the Singapore Night Festival. Take a fascinating night walk through the Bras Basah.Bugis district, which will be turned into a land of artworks, projections, and immersive experiences until 5 September 2026.

Pasar MAD-lam

Organised by MAD Market in collaboration with Singapore Night Festival, Pasar MAD-lam is a weekend market that will be taking place over the next three weeks at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza.

Starting this weekend, 21 – 23 August 2026, this Friday-to-Sunday event will open from 5pm to 10pm and feature a variety of booths. This includes local vendors who specialise in making stickers, zines, illustrations, handmade plushies, keychains, trinkets, and more.

Good Pet Fair 2026

For one weekend only on 22 & 23 August 2026, Good Pet Fair invites all paw-rents and their fur-kids to an event featuring more than 80 curated brands and exhibitors. Held at the Great Eastern Promenade at The Kallang, the Good Pet Fair is 100% pet-friendly and free to enter!

You will find a wide spectrum of product categories from accessories and lifestyle to food and treats, and even cleaning products. You will surely find something to reward your good boys and good girls. 

Just make sure to prepare cash, as some international vendors from around the region may not accept cashless payment. You can also take part in engaging community workshops and unwind under the stars at a pet-inclusive movie night.

Yes, it’s back. McDonald’s is bringing back its beloved Samurai Burger from 20 August 2026 onwards. Expect the return of the Samurai Beef Burger, Samurai Chicken Burger, Tamago Samurai Burger (Beef/Chicken), and Seaweed McShaker Fries

The addictive Katsu Chicken Tenders (from S$5.50), refreshing and fruity Kyoho Grape Soft Serve (from S$1.50), and Strawberry Daifuku Pie (from S$1.80) with sweet red bean paste and mochi are new additions to the menu you can look forward to.
