Ever had the feels for a cold dessert and a refreshing drink at the same time? We’ve all been there — standing in front of dessert kiosks, minutes passing by as we decide which option to go for.
Well, now you can have the best of both worlds. With Nine Fresh’s new line of Tea-Ssert drinkable desserts, you can enjoy the convenience and thirst-quenching effects of a cup of drink, while also having something sweet to chew on. Best of all, you can convince yourself that you did not actually exceed your daily sugar quota.
Introducing Tea-Sserts
Take a look at these fresh cups of goodness. You can tell Nine Fresh has been secretly cooking for a while before revealing this new line of drinks on their menu. Highlights include Yammie Earl Grey (S$4.80), Jasmine Chrysanthemum Peach Gum Milk (S$4.50), and Honey Pop Fresh Milk (S$4.50).
The first is a combination of Earl Grey milk tea, bean curd, ai-yu jelly, mini taro balls and yam paste, while the second is Jasmine milk tea layered with chrysanthemum ai-yu jelly, Peach Gum and the once-seasonal Chrysanthemum Qhewy. These definitely feel like Nine Fresh’s dessert bowls jammed into drink cups.
But what I am personally most interested in trying is the Honey Pop Fresh Milk, which is made up of some of my favourite ingredients — honey popping jelly, beancurd, ai-yu jelly, and fresh milk. I can already imagine the burst of sweet delight after taking a sip.
If you are someone who wants something more personalised, you can also DIY your own Tea-Ssert, selecting your choices from a spread of 28 toppings.
Refreshing the menu
Besides adding new items to their menu, Nine Fresh has also made previously seasonal items a permanent mainstay, alongside their All-Time Favourites. The dessert bowls they are so well-known for have also gotten new combinations.
These include the new Lime Ai-Yu Longan Jelly Burst (S$4.50), which is a refreshing bowl packed with ai-yu jelly, lime squash, longan, konjac jelly, taro balls, and water chestnut pop. There is also a Chrysanthemum Ai-Yu series, featuring items like Golden Chrysanthemum Peach Gum (S$4.50). Sweet.
The new Nine Fresh menu is available at all their outlets, except the one at Marina Bay Sands. From now till 31 May, customers can purchase any three desserts at just S$11.80, saving up to S$2.60.
