Remember the popular Bubble Tea Factory that had captured many ladies’ hearts? The same organiser, El Masnou, is having another cute pastel otter-themed pop-up exhibition at Gardens by the Bay! Otah and Friends will be happening from now till 4 April 2021.
Otah and Friends features our main character, Otah the otter, and a myriad of ‘otter-ly’ cute photo taking spots for your Instagram feed. This pop-up exhibition focuses on an unconventional escape room experience, challenging you to go on a hide-and-seek adventure. Visitors are required to seek out Otah within a stipulated time limit, before the cookies in his oven burn.
The curated exhibition will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. This includes a 15 minutes long pre-show, 15 minutes of hide-and-seek game, and the final 15 minutes spent in a cheery sunflower-filled backyard picnic.
First look at Otah and Friends
One of the most notable and photogenic spots in this exhibit is Otah’s cozy and pastel-hued living room. Step into a baby blue painted floor encapsulated by baby pink walls. Explore more in Otah’s kitchen and a giant tree filled with cute interactive props and clues.
Once you have found Otah, you will be rewarded with some lemonade and cookies that are baked by instagram famous bakery, Whiskdom, in Otah’s backyard!
Extended to 4 April with new installations
Due to popular demand, the initial end date (26 February 2021) for the exhibition have been extended to 4 April 2021. You now have even more time to plan a visit to Otah’s house!
There are also new installations in the exhibition such as the highly instagrammable fairy light tunnel, portraits of Otah’s family, and other photogenic spots.
Additionally, from 1 March onwards, you would be able to meet Otah’s mascot and enjoy a delightful picnic with him. This meet and greet session will happen daily from 3pm to 6pm.
From 1 April to 4 April, you will also get to participate in Otah’s Easter Egg Hunt to collect five eggs that are hidden throughout the house. Once all five eggs have been collected, you will be qualified for the lucky dip where limited edition Otah and Friends plushies could be won.
Tickets are priced at S$15 per pax for a minimum of two pax, while a private session for 5 pax costs S$48—buy four and you’ll get one free. Book your tickets in advance here.
