If you’re looking for something to keep your pets entertained, here’s something for you to consider: the inaugural Pets’ Day Out. Held by The Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), the event will take place at East Coast Park Coastal Playgrove on 11 February 2023. Cat owners, rabbit owners, dog owners — all are welcome.

While your pets mingle with other furry friends, pet owners can attend engaging workshops and sharing sessions conducted by experts. Local media personalities Yasminne Cheng, Daniel Boey, and Glenda Chong will also be joining in the fun while sharing their experience as pet owners.

It’ll be a great opportunity to gain some valuable tips and tricks. For instance, if you struggle with getting your pet to like or listen to you, let the experts show you how it’s done. You might even learn some useful massage techniques to pamper your pets, and maybe even yourself, because we all love a good rub down. There will also be free pet health checks conducted by vets.

But that’s not all. Let your (human) child try their hand at being a junior pet groomer or junior veterinarian for a day through a series of fun yet educational workshops for kids — there will definitely be something fun for everyone in the family!

Before you leave, make sure you snag some specially curated Pets’ Day Out treats and cute accessories from the bustling marketplace. If you’re game, you can even bring home a new furkid from the Animal Welfare Groups’ adoption drive.

Some activities may require pre-registration, so be sure to check out NParks’ website before heading down.
