Branded pop-ups have been all the rage lately (anyone here went to the Laura Mercier and the Merci Marcel pop-ups?), and Charlotte Tilbury is here to ride the wave with Pillow Talk Café.

From 10 May 2025 to 23 May 2025, this cafe pop-up is the perfect hangout spot for you and your pink-loving bestie.
Other than a limited-time menu at Átipico Room 15, Solace Studios is also here to join the pillow party with a free photobooth.

Inspired by the dreamy nude-pink Pillow Talk makeup collection by Charlotte Tilbury, everything is gloriously pink.

The entire pop-up is located in New Bahru, the popular creative space born from the former Nan Chiau High School’s original architecture.
It houses over 40 independent, local brands, but is still opening progressively, so stay tuned for updates.

For the limited-time menu, head to Átipico Room 15, a cosy cafe serving artisanal bakes, coffee, and European dishes.

While you can order from their extensive menu, Átipico has created three desserts and three drinks exclusively for this event.
While prices are on the higher side (we certainly felt the pinch in our wallets), you get to choose one free Charlotte Tilbury sample for every item ordered from the limited-time menu.
That makes it worth it… Right?

Hop on the matcha train with Charlotte’s Strawberry Matcha (S$9). Surprisingly, it wasn’t too sweet. However, I found the matcha taste a little bland in comparison with the strawberry compote.
I preferred the Love Potion Peach Rose Tea (S$8), which was refreshing with a subtle sweetness. While the peach flavour wasn’t prominent, the aesthetics of the drink totally make up for it (peep the little floating flowers).

If you can’t give up on your coffee, sample the Pillow Talk Pink Latte (S$7), a latte topped with beetroot milk foam. Unfortunately, it’s only available as a hot drink.
I was most excited about the cute desserts, and they certainly lived up to the hype.

As somebody who’s never tried pavlova, the Beauty Soulmate Strawberry Pavlova (S$15) was a pleasant surprise. It’s a light dessert — the crunchy meringue complements the airy cream well.
We also tried the Pink, Plump & Pout Choux Puff (S$15), which was my favourite dessert. Admittedly, the choux puff was a little stale but it was still a delicious sweet treat.

Curious about the muffin-croissant hybrid? Try the Pillow Talk “Just-Kissed” Cruffin (S$8) instead.
This isn’t your regular cafe pop-up — take free, unlimited photostrips and lounge on the beach chairs at New Bahru’s lawn area.

We strongly recommend planning your visit for a sunny day (many white skirts and boots were ruined during our rainy visit).
There’s no end to photobooths in Singapore, so you can bet there’s one here too.
This time, the popular Korean-style photobooth studio Solace Studios is here with a giant telephone-themed photobooth.

Get exclusive heart-shaped shots with the girlies. Choose from single-row photostrips or multi-frame strips, as well as the number of cuts per strip.
You only have five seconds to pose, so make every second count.

While you’re there, play around with the fake telephones and snap a few shots for your Instagram feed.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an actual booth selling the Pillow Talk collection. It’s available exclusively at Sephora, but the products are displayed next to the photobooth.
Products include the Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates Collection, Matte Revolution Lipstick, and Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumgasm.

Are you ready to show up smooth, sly, and pretty in pink?
