If you’re a fan of those soothing DIY terrarium videos, then you will love Plantherapy Cafe, a terrarium-inspired floral cafe in Johor Bahru that is entirely made out of glass.

A visit to this cafe, that is tucked away in an interior design company named Spazehaus, may bring you even greater joy than a YouTube video. Plantherapy Cafe prides itself in engaging all five senses, from aesthetically pleasing visuals to the use of essential oils in creating a therapeutic atmosphere.

Although it is located less than 30 minutes away from the checkpoint, the location is quiet and serene, perfect for you to immerse yourself in the enchanting ambience as you sip on a cup of coffee. Lush greenery and vibrant blooms cascade from the ceiling, and the aroma of fresh brews, sweets and soothing essential oils mingle harmoniously.

In the evening, its glass dome offers a picturesque view of the setting sun and colourful sky, creating an ideal background for photos.

While at night, Plantherapy Cafe exudes a mystical and otherworldly vibe, with twinkling fairy lights striking a contrast against the dark night sky beyond the glass dome. It is no wonder that the cafe has become a popular spot for proposals since it looks like it was plucked straight from a fairytale.

The cafe is picture-perfect down to the desserts that it is known for.

Their Princess Theme Afternoon Tea Set (S$26.51, RM89.90) is prettily decorated with cute Snow White or Belle dolls, and desserts exquisitely made in shapes of fruits and flowers.

They have set menus with wellness themes as well, such as Set A: Healing Yourself (S$11.76, RM39.90). Your tray of ice latte and coffee tart will arrive elaborately decorated with thematic flowers and plants, which you won’t be able to resist snapping pictures of. Even the tart has been conceptualised to resemble a flower!

The ice latte, also known as Shades of Brown (S$4.97, RM16.90), has a unique twist. Espresso is frozen in the shape of a rose, and all you need to do is pour in the glass of milk served at the side.
