We’ve been on a roll with Sanrio–themed launches, and now there’s another pop-up joining the mix. In celebration of Pompompurin’s 30th anniversary, JAPAN RAIL CAFE has transformed into a limited-time Pompompurin-themed pop-up café, and it’s just as adorable as you’d imagine.
Running from 4 May 2026 to 14 June 2026, the “Pompompurin Tohoku Trip” experience brings together kawaii décor, themed dishes, and exclusive collectables inspired by Japan’s scenic Tohoku region.
The café is decked out with cheerful Pompompurin decorations, giant plushies, and photo spots that turn every corner into an Instagram-worthy spot. But beyond the visuals, the menu is where the real fun begins.

One of the highlights is the Pompompurin Curry Rice (S$22.90++), featuring fluffy egg rice shaped like the beloved golden retriever lounging in rich Japanese curry, paired with crispy karaage chicken. There’s also the Inaniwa Udon Onsen Bath (S$18++), a playful dish inspired by Japan’s famous hot springs, complete with silky udon noodles and sliced beef in a comforting broth.
For dessert, don’t miss the Pompompurin Pudding Parfait (S$12.90++), a sweet treat layered with bananas, whipped cream, and crunchy toppings. Drinks are equally cute, with options like the After Onsen Banana Milk (S$9.90++) and Yuzu Citron Cream Float(S$8) topped with cream and cookie crumble.
