Shop your heart out this weekend at Resurrack Vintage Market, nestled in the heart of Bugis. While this vintage marketplace hosts a wide array of booths every weekend, there’s something special coming up.
From 28 June 2025 to 29 June 2025, the thrift masterminds will be hosting Planet Racks, the largest vintage clothing festival in Singapore.
Expect to find over 100 racks of clothing and over 40 vendors with trinkets and accessories galore.
On top of the many thrift shops, there’ll also be live performances by local talents and exclusive deals such as fill-a-bag sales and S$2 clothes bins.
The newspaper photobooth will also be there, along with tarot card readings, nails, ice cream, and Ribena — all for free.
Singapore’s most popular thrift shops like Local Thrift SG and Astro VTG will be there, so it’s the perfect time to shop (especially if you’re not one for online shopping). Try on your favourite jerseys, or the comfiest vintage tee for size.
I’m itching to check out 4urvision, which sells customisable glasses just like a certain Korean eyewear brand (ahem, Gentle Monster dupe). Here, you’ll be able to add charms and chains to bring your office siren vision to life.
I’m always on the lookout for a new digicam for my holiday fit pictures. At Resurrack, there are quite a few shops selling the trendiest cameras, such as ThriftedClicks and Tsohuna.
Music heads can look to Tiger Vault Records and Groove Distortion to expand their collection of vinyl.
If you’re looking to bring home some art, there’ll also be ArdyCature drawing up hilarious caricatures live. Grab a friend and strike a pose (and maybe hold it there for a couple of minutes).
For something more temporary, try Cyann for a semi-permanent Jagua tattoo. If you have a tattoo in mind, you could even try it out with Jagua first.
